Protecting 100,000 acres of Rainforest by 2015.

New York’s Central Park is one of the world’s

most popular tourist destinations, attracting 25 million visitors every single year. At 843 acres the park covers 6% of Manhattans total area and contains 26,000 trees, 9,000 benches and 58 miles of pedestrian pathways. It is huge!

Now picture an area that is 120 times the size of Central Park or a car park that is large enough to park 20 million cars. That is exactly what we have done at Ibex Earth – only that we will be looking to fund the purchase and conservation of 100,000 acres of rainforest by the end of 2015 in a campaign called ‘Our World: Our Choice’.

To achieve this ambitious goal we will be working in collaboration with the World Land Trust, an international conservation charity that has been saving wildlife and endangered habitat, acre by acre, since 1989. For more information about the World Land Trust please click here.

However, we need your help and support to reach this ambitious target of protecting 100,000 acres of tropical rainforest. We will be looking to establish and develop a series of unique and innovative projects to enable businesses and individuals to take part. If you have any questions or would like to support the campaign then please get in touch.
