Introduction PDF Print E-mail
An increase in environmental awareness on issues such as climate change, sustainable development and ethical / fair trade – combined with the UK’s move towards a low-carbon economy – has seen a tremedous amount of growth within the low-carbon and environmental sector. The sector is expected to be worth £4.5 trillion globally by 2015 and the number of opportunities for students from all disciplines is expected to increase substantially.

The Environmental Careers Network (“ECN”) has been established to provide students with all of the information they need to pursue a career with the low-carbon and environmental sector. So if you are looking for an ‘insider’s guide’ from some of the leading professionals within this field; details of events and networking opportunities that you can attend; some information relating to a University course that you are interested in; or just some information about how you can improve your CV and obtain work experience – then you are in the right place.
