The name says it all..

’Global warming’ is a truly global problem and if it is left unchecked it will effect each and every one of us. As our planet warms our climate will change and this presents the biggest threat that humankind, as a collective, has ever had to face. Although we may not see scenes such as those dramatised in Hollywood’s 2004 blockbuster ‘The Day After Tomorrow’ we can expect the world’s poorest countries to suffer from more frequent droughts, famine and natural disasters – sadly, in the not too distant future this could be on a scale that we have never seen before.

It is easy to think that this is someone else’s problem, or that someone else will come up with the solution. If only it was that simple. In this instance we have got to accept that we are all part of the problem and we are all going to need to be part of the solution. By acting together now we can avoid the worst that global warming can throw at us, but by failing to act...let’s hope we never have to discuss that scenario.
